At Tamber Bey, we pride ourselves on producing extraordinary wines from estate-grown grapes and carefully sourced Napa Valley and Sonoma fruit. The Vineyard Series includes distinct single-vineyard wines that reflect this philosophy. Each wine is handcrafted to gracefully convey unique characteristics of each vineyard.

LamBentz Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc

A bright, crisp California-style Sauvignon Blanc. Aged in a combination of oak barrels and stainless steel. The use of oak barrels respects the elegance of the Sauvignon Blanc fruit, and it brings a unique character feeling and texture to the palate. A quartz-like minerality from the vineyard site is the overarching theme of this wine. Aromatically, the wine exhibits white stone fruit and a white reductive floral character. On the palate, a citrusy, tangerine/Meyer lemon-like acidity keeps things lively.

Sans Chêne Chardonnay

Aged in 100% stainless steel, which preserves all the intensity of the fruit by blocking malolactic fermentation to produce a beautiful fresh and vibrant “unoaked” Chardonnay. The overall tropical nose delivers aromatics of starfruit, orange blossom, lemon grass, and white flowers mixed with hints of apple and key lime pie. The palate has textured acidity with notes of lychee and lemon curd. The finish is clean from front to back with hints of stone fruit, apple and young white peach.

Fore Family Vineyard Rosé

A true Provence-style Rosé of Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah. Packed with an expressive nose of guava, starfruit, and mandarin orange rind. While still delivering the quintessential Rosé profile of strawberry crème on the palate, the red-fruit profile yields more floral lilac and rosewater elements, which are seductive and exciting. Focused, crisp acidity on the palate leaves one longing for warmer weather. 100% stainless steel aged.

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Vibrant and medium-to full-bodied, with the dark ruby/magenta hue maintaining its depth of color to the rim. The color is reminiscent of dark Bing cherry. The aroma delivers layers of dark cherry, plum, dried herbs, licorice, and dusty earth. Flavors sing notes of rhubarb, black cherry jam, blueberry, light plum, leather, tobacco, and mincemeat. The texture is supple and approachable. The finish is a smooth and well-balanced, with medium acidity and tannins.

Deux Chevaux Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

A classic Napa Valley-floor, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, with richness and well-balanced elegance. Aged in French oak. Aromas of black raspberry, cassis, pencil lead, crushed rock, and cigar box intermingled with a touch of allspice pair well with the taste of graphite, blackberry, cassis, vanilla bean, crushed rock, and a spice mix of clove, nutmeg and allspice. Finishing texture is focused and muscular, with firm tannins that persist for a lengthy finish.

Deux Chevaux Vineyard Rabicano

Tamber Bey’s estate-grown Bordeaux-blend wine, Rabicano, is a masterful blend that exhibits the unique traits of the Deux Chevaux Vineyard, a strong core of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with the bolstering power of Petit Verdot and Malbec, and the aromatics of Cabernet Franc. This is Tamber Bey’s original blend that inspired three other blends: Sabino, Tovero and Vermejo. Aged in French oak.

With the Signature Collection, our goal is to create a portfolio of ultra-premium wines distinguished by appellation and terroir. From award-winning vineyards on the Sonoma Coast to the renowned Oakville Estate Vineyard and the classically characteristic Deux Chevaux Vineyard of Yountville, these wines represent distinction in winemaking.

Deux Chevaux Vineyard Chardonnay

One of the inaugural varietals planted at the original vineyard, Tamber Bey’s estate-grown Chardonnay is a unique wine for Napa. It has a ‘Burgundian’ feel, as the French Dijon clone brings a wonderful mid-palate sense of fruit but leaves out the oak and butter characteristic of traditional Napa Chardonnays. Barrel fermented and barrel aged in French oak.

Deux Chevaux Vineyard Merlot

A rare, 100% Merlot. This aromatic, fruit-forward wine delivers a coreof black fruit, with black currant and notes of chocolate. It is full-bodied, with a well-integrated texture and velvety tannins. One of Tamber Bey’s original wines from the old block in the Deux Chevaux Vineyard. Aged in French oak.

Deux Chevaux Vineyard Malbec

This 100% Malbec delivers aromatics of beautiful floral tones of lilac and violet, along with fennel-cured coppa, wild blackberry, and applewood-smoked bacon. There are hints of huckleberry, black currant, smokey bacon, savory charcuterie, and a touch of white pepper and sage on the palate. The sensation of acidity in the mouthfeel leads to a refreshing finish with a nice persistence. Aged in French oak.

Oakville Estate Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Our original Signature Collection wine, first released in 2002, is all about the Oakville AVA. The dense, cane-pruned vines deliver the full impact of the Oakville soil into the body of this wine. The palate is deep and brooding, with flavors of gravel, sandalwood, black cherry, blackberry, vanilla bean, mocha, and clove. This wine has tremendous length and persistence. The texture is elegant and broad on the palate, with fine tannins and great length of finish. Aged in French oak.

Deux Chevaux Vineyard Sabino

Cabernet Franc is known for its aromatics, and this predominantly Cab Franc blend is no exception. The dark, cherry-red color divulges the aromas of wet slate, lavender, violet, kirsch and rhubarb pie. The flavor profile is herbaceous, with floral and mossy notes giving way to rose petal and confectionary rhubarb, with hints of leather and cardamom. The tannins are strong and plush. The finish is both lingering, and expressive. Aged in French oak.

Deux Chevaux Vineyard Tovero

This Petit Verdot-based blend is deep and brooding, with notes of dark chocolate, caramel and candied pecans, and a hint of truffle. On the palate, flavors of blueberry, boysenberry and blackberry combine with graham cracker crumble, toasted pecan and dark chocolate. The plush and supple mid-palate leads to a mouthcoating of expansive tannins for a long and firm finish.

Deux Chevaux Vineyard Vermejo

A best-of-barrel blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Proud and unapologetic, this wine makes a statement. Flavors of black current, blueberry, mint, chocolate ganache, all-spice and fresh leather evolve into grilled oregano and tarragon, generous wet black slate, and cacao aromas propped up by firm, youthful tannins. The texture is vibrant, with a deep, dark core and considerable structure. Aged in French oak.
