Barry is a proud graduate of California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo. After finding success in the tech industry in the early days of Apple and AOL, Barry left Silicon Valley for Napa Valley to enter into the wine business as a grower. Barry also returned to school to study viticulture and enology at UC Davis. As an active member of the community of Napa Valley Vintners, Barry currently serves as President of the Oakville Winegrowers Association. An avid sportsman, he enthusiastically embraced long-distance horseracing, winning two national titles (in 50 and 100 miles) and earning a Gold Medal in the Pan American Equestrian Championships in Maryland. He is also an avid polo player.
