Radian

Sta. Rita Hills

The 100-acre Radian Vineyard—named for a distinct ridge line that defines the property—has an unusually cool microclimate thanks to its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, and strong coastal winds which make for firm tannic structure in the grapes. At the same time, it gets plenty of sunlight due to its southern exposure, and the rocky, well-drained soil of clay, loam, and diatomaceous earth provides enough heat retention to ripen our Pinot Noir.
